residential care

We transform the lives of our residents and watch them blossom under our care

OUR CARE

what isresidential care?

A residential care home provides a safe environment for individuals to enjoy their later years with the reassurance of 24/7 care should they need it.

Residents are offered assistance with tasks such as washing, getting dressed, taking medication, and moving around. At The Old Rectory, part of ACI, we never push assistance onto our residents. We believe that there is a need to respect their desire for independence and this is something that we will not only support but will actively encourage.

For us at The Old Rectory, a residential care home is a new and exciting step for our residents. There are new companions to meet, new friendships to be made, and new activities to enjoy. Yes, there may be some traditional activities such as bingo and quizzes, but we also offer a little more. There is dancing, film nights, gardening, trips out, and so much more. Our care homes ensure that our residents’ lives are full and rewarding and that we add a little sparkle to their day-to-day routines.

who is residentialcare for?

Residential care is there to assist those who may need personal care and support, but are otherwise mobile and independent. It is usually an option for elderly people who are finding it difficult to manage at home. These people do not usually require nursing care. Instead, they are looking for an environment where they can continue to live a full and enjoyable life with a helping hand along the way.
