Residents of Fairways Care Home took advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend, embarking on a scenic seaside walk along the stunning shores of New Romney. The outing provided a refreshing change of scenery under a cloudless blue sky, with views of the crystal-clear sea creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation and conversation.
The group, consisting of residents, staff, and several volunteers, followed a gentle route that allowed everyone to enjoy the seaside’s tranquil beauty at a comfortable pace.
“It was absolutely rejuvenating,” said Connie, Activities Coordinator “The sunshine, the breeze, it was just perfect. It felt like a little holiday from our daily routines.”
The walk also provided an opportunity for residents to connect with nature and each other, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among the group. Fairways Care Home plans to make these seaside walks a regular activity, hoping for warmer days ahead to continue enjoying the natural beauty of New Romney’s coastline.
Residents and staff are eagerly anticipating their next seaside adventure, hopeful for continued sunny weather to enjoy the beautiful settings that New Romney has to offer.
