Fairways Care Home hosts charity event to support Dementia UK

Fairways Care Home is inviting community members to come together for a special event aimed at raising funds and awareness for Dementia UK.

Scheduled for Friday, May 10th, from 10 am to 12 pm, the care home hopes to bring people together for a ‘Cuppa and a Chat’ session that promises to be both enjoyable and impactful.

The event, which is open to all, will feature a variety of activities and opportunities for attendees to learn more about dementia and the support services offered by the Care Home and Dementia UK. “It’s a chance for our community to really make a difference. We believe that through greater awareness and support, we can significantly impact the lives of those affected by dementia.” says Connie, Activities Coordinator.

Attendees will be treated to tea, coffee, and cakes, with all proceeds from the event going directly to Dementia UK.

Fairways Care Home is known for its active role in the community and its commitment to enhancing the lives of its residents and their families. This event is just one of many initiatives the home has undertaken to broaden understanding and foster a supportive environment for everyone affected by dementia.
