Hastings care home celebrates Pancake Day with a fun-filled tossing competition.
Mountside Care Home in Hastings is proving that good community news will always find a place in the local press after its joyful Pancake Day celebrations were picked up by Sussex World.
The event saw residents and staff come together for a fun-filled pancake tossing competition, with lots of laughter and friendly competition. One standout moment came when Christine, a resident, managed an incredible 100 flips, earning her a special certificate and plenty of applause.
The heartwarming story captured the attention of Sussex World, who featured it in their community news section—highlighting the importance of celebrating the small but meaningful moments in care homes.
