Faith, Fellowship, and Easter Blessings at Mountside Care Home

At Mountside Care Home in Hastings, the Easter season is more than a time for chocolate eggs and spring flowers—it’s a time of deep reflection, faith, and community. This year, we were truly blessed to welcome Reverend Rosemary from Blacklands Church into our home for a special Easter service and Holy Communion.

Gathered together in our cosy lounge, we listened with heartfelt attention as Reverend Rosemary led a beautiful and uplifting service. For many of those who live at Mountside, faith continues to play a central role in daily life—offering comfort, guidance, and a sense of continuity through life’s many seasons.

Moments like these are more than just part of our events calendar they’re deeply meaningful. They connect us to cherished traditions, offer space for prayer and reflection, reminding everyone that they are seen, valued, and spiritually supported.

We’re incredibly grateful to Reverend Rosemary and everyone at Blacklands Church for taking the time to be with us. The service was a joyful celebration of renewal and hope; something that resonates so deeply at this time of year.

From all of us at Mountside, thank you again to Reverend Rosemary and Blacklands Church. Your presence brought light and peace into our home.
