Respite care is a temporary care service that may be needed for a few nights. Depending on the requirement, it may extend to several weeks, or even a period of months. Regardless of the length of care that you’re seeking, you can always be assured of the quality of respite services.
Who is RespiteCare For?
At times, we all need a little extra help to get back on our feet, or to take a break from our daily routine. That’s where respite care comes in. Our respite services allow you or your loved one to enjoy all the amenities and support that our full-time residents receive, but on a short-term basis.
It could be that you require some additional assistance when recovering from a hospital stay, or, as a carer, you may have plans that require you to be away from home.
No matter the reason, respite care allows you to take some time out, safe in the knowledge that you or your loved one is receiving the very best care.

Yes, we welcome visitors and encourage family and friends to visit their loved ones regularly. We have an open-door policy, but ask visitors respect the routine of the day, such as mealtimes and bedtime, however we recommend contacting the home directly for details. We also facilitate virtual visits for those unable to travel.

Our menus are designed to cater to various tastes and dietary requirements, ensuring residents enjoy balanced and satisfying meals every day. We do everything possible to make ACI Care feel like home. Our homes are warm, inviting, and designed to feel comfortable rather than clinical. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items, such as photos, bedding, and small pieces of furniture, to make their rooms feel familiar and homely.
Moving to a care home is a big change, and we take special care to make the transition as smooth as possible. Our team takes the time to get to know each resident, their routines, likes, and dislikes. We provide a friendly and supportive environment where they can settle at their own pace, with plenty of reassurance and opportunities to participate in activities and social interactions.
