Fairways Care Home Honours Beloved Friend Dave with Heartfelt Memorial Lunch
Fairways Care Home recently held a touching memorial lunch to honour and celebrate the life of their dear friend, Dave. The beautiful event, arranged by the dedicated Nicola, took place at The Levin Club in St. Mary’s Bay and was marked by heartfelt memories, delicious food, and wonderful entertainment.
The afternoon was filled with warmth and camaraderie as everyone gathered to pay tribute to a cherished member of the Fairways care community. The event featured a traditional Ploughman’s lunch, offering a comforting array of bread, cheese, pickles, and cold meats that brought everyone together around the table in a shared celebration of life.
Adding to the special atmosphere was the musical entertainment provided by band Duck Soup, whose lively performance created a perfect backdrop for the gathering. The combination of good food, music, and fellowship made for a truly memorable afternoon.
The memorial lunch was more than just a gathering; it was a celebration of life, friendship, and the lasting impact of a beloved individual. Nicola’s dedication and attention to detail ensured that the event truly reflected Dave’s spirit and the love he shared with the Fairways community.
Thank you, Nicola, for such a heartfelt and meaningful gathering.
