I joined Gabriel Court as a Care Assistant 20 years ago and quickly worked up through as a Team Leader and Head of Care, before finally becoming the Manager 17 years ago, which I have remained as ever since. The thing that I love most about working in care is working with the Residents and looking after them and making each day that little bit better – it is definitely a vocation rather than a job, you need to have your heart and soul in it.
